Meet Dr. Hugh Pabarue, MD
Dr. Pabarue, M.D., is a double board-certified Internal Medicine and Pediatric physician with 15 years of experience. Dr. Pabarue was honored as a “Mom Approved Doctor” in Metro Parent Magazine in 2011 and 2012 and was featured in <a href="http://regionalspotlight.com/hotdata/publishers/regionalspot/advertiser/8403047/3616195/6937GW_0520MetroVein.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Good Housekeeping's 2020 regional spotlight</a> for his compassionate and cutting edge care. He currently practices at our Rochester Hills and Clinton Township locations in Michigan.
Dr. Pabarue completed his Bachelors degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Wright State University before attending medical school at Medical College of Ohio and completing his residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Pabarue worked in private practice for eight years before becoming interested in vein surgery. After phlebology training, he joined Metro Vein Centers in 2013. Of his career, Dr. Pabarue states, “During my medical experience, I have seen the sickest of the sick. I can take care of anyone who walks through my door and I treat all patients as if I were treating my family members. I want them to come into a medical environment where they are comfortable and well-informed as we go through treatment.”
Staying on the cutting edge of vein surgery and treatment is important to Dr. Pabarue. “I always strive to be the best doctor I can possibly be,” he says. “I keep up to date with new medical information and techniques from many different areas of medicine. I apply that knowledge base to my clinical practice, making the lives of my patients better.
