Chameeka Barrett, MD, is a board-certified physician with two decades of experience in the medical field. She attended medical school at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, in her hometown of Brooklyn, New York City, then completed her residency training at nearby Kings County Hospital. After starting her career practicing emergency medicine, she has gone through additional training to treat vein disease and its symptoms. Her expertise in vascular procedures includes treating varicose veins, visible spider veins, restless legs, swelling and edema, and poor circulation.

Dr. Barrett specializes in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, can can provide a variety of minimally invasive options for her patients. She expertly performs varicose vein and spider vein treatments, including radiofrequency ablation, ultrasound-guided and visual sclerotherapy, laser vein removal, Varithena®, and VenaSeal™. She is devoted to delivering meaningful relief and aesthetic improvements for her patients. She serves her community in New York with unrivaled passion and attention to detail, while putting patient experience and comfort first.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Barrett has received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and a master of science degree in medical microbiology and immunology. She has worked extensively in emergency medicine and holds multiple certifications in providing life support.
