John H. Cooper, DO, FACOS, RPVI, is a board-certified vascular surgeon with over 20 years of experience in vascular and endovascular surgery. He brings extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of complex arterial and venous conditions, helping patients find relief from varicose veins, spider veins, and chronic venous insufficiency.
Dr. Cooper earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he also completed his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship. He is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Vascular Surgery and the American Osteopathic Board of General Surgery and holds the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential.
At Metro Vein Centers, Dr. Cooper treats varicose veins and spider veins using state-of-the-art vein treatment technologies, including radiofrequency ablation, Varithena®, VenaSeal™, and ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, to provide meaningful relief from the symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Cooper enjoys golf, chess, skiing, and creating medical illustrations and animations.
