Daniel Ahn, DO, DABVLM, is a board-certified physician specializing in the treatment of spider veins and greater vein diseases such as varicose veins and venous insufficiency. He obtained his medical degree at the Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing his residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. He is recognized as a Diplomate by the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine for his excellence in the field of vein treatment. This is a distinction awarded to only the top 1% of vein specialists nationwide.
With a background in emergency medicine, routinely seeing patients suffering from advanced, untreated vein disease, Dr Ahn was drawn to preventative vein care out of an earnest desire to stop vein disease before it becomes a medical emergency. He is on a mission to improve quality of life for his patients by providing proactive, comprehensive, personalized treatment using the latest evidence-based medicine. He has trained extensively in the treatment of venous insufficiency, using methods such as radiofrequency ablations, VenaSeal, and injectable medicines (such as sclerotherapy). Dr. Ahn fuels his passion for learning by studying advancements in the field of vascular medicine.
Dr. Ahn dedicates his personal time to volunteering at schools and soup kitchens in his community.
