Dr. Lathan brings his extensive experience in the treatment of vein disease (and the many uncomfortable symptoms that come with it), including varicose veins and spider veins, to our Connecticut vein clinics.
Dr. Lathan specializes in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (also known as vein disease), providing a variety of minimally invasive options for his patients. He expertly performs varicose vein and spider vein treatments, including endovenous laser ablations, ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, laser vein removal, Varithena®, and VenaSeal™. His history in age-management medicine and emergency medicine lends a unique perspective to his patient-centric care, prioritizing both meaningful relief and aesthetic improvements.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Lathan has previously been a speaker three years in a row at the National Women and Girls Sports Day in Yonkers, New York, and has earned the Outstanding Service Award for his work in forensics and assault awareness.
“It's important to recognize the early signs of vein disease and seek treatment as soon as possible. Bulging veins in your legs, itching, cramping, changes in leg color or simply swelling in your ankles after a long day's work, all may be a sign of a more serious condition. We need to love our bodies through care and attention. In my practice, we will help you do just that because feeling good, looking good, and unrestricted movement are essential to happy, healthy, and productive lives.”Dr. Edward LathanBoard-Certified Physician and Vein Specialist
