Mitra Jafari, MD, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon with more than a decade of hands-on surgical experience. She now focuses on helping patients manage varicose veins, spider veins, and chronic venous conditions through minimally invasive vein care.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Texas A&M University Health Science Center and completed her general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Throughout her career, Dr. Jafari has practiced in both urban and rural healthcare settings and has served as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff at multiple hospitals. At Metro Vein Centers, she combines surgical expertise with clear communication and thoughtful care, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jafari enjoys staying active through Jiu-Jitsu and CrossFit, as well as spending time outdoors camping.
