Sareh Rajaee, MD MPH, is a board-certified Vascular Surgeon with over 8 years of experience. Before joining Metro Vascular Centers, Dr. Rajaee had practiced vascular surgery at a private practice in Brooklyn, NY, where she performed open endovascular and vascular procedures for the treatment of aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease, deep and superficial vein disease, and dialysis access. She also obtained a Masters in Public Health at the Harvard School of Public Health. She then completed an integrated Vascular Surgery Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. “My undeniable excitement in the operating room, the enjoyment I attained from on-your-feet problem solving, and the challenges and rewards of dealing with complex management issues led me to pursue a career in vascular surgery,” says Dr. Rajaee. “Despite a career in surgery, throughout my years of practice in medicine I have made a point to maintain my humanity and have found ways to engage in my interests of preventative care, patient advocacy and health and human rights equality. “ Dr. Rajaee completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rhode Island, where she double majored in Biomedical Engineering and German as part of the International Engineering program. She also speaks French and Farsi.
